Summary of Position

Petersoncheese is looking for a Social Media Manager! This person will have the opportunity to drive our social media agendas across our website, and all social media platforms. You will help us build our online reputation and followers by posting original content and creating connections. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be driving the entire process. Key Accountabilities

  • Create, monitor, and manage campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Excellent communication skills needed to exercise outstanding communication with followers, including timely responses over the social media platforms.
  • Demonstrated commitment and passion for positive and enriching customer experiences.
  • Act as social media and website content lead for digital marketing campaigns; collaborating with business leaders and marketing to design digital campaigns to support strategic initiatives.
  • Make recommendations and execute improvements in efficiency, leveraging data insights, research, and competitive assessments.
  • Responsible for digital campaign performance measurement. This includes compiling, executing, and distributing monthly reporting across all digital marketing efforts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and curiosity about digital marketing strategy, tactics, and MarTech tools. This role should be up to date on developments in digital marketing, Marketing Technology, privacy laws and general digital rules & regulations.
  • Analytical approach and good problem-solving skills, coupled with creative orientation.
  • Facilitate collection of web product photos from suppliers, and ongoing maintenance of new items.
  • Research and write/edit item descriptions that convey key product features and benefits relevant to the product end-user. Ongoing maintenance of new items.
  • Performs regular website content updates to match the current sales focus and capitalize on ongoing content development.
  • Plans and collaborates with internal team members on video projects to build YouTube library. Share accordingly on our website and social media.
  • Develops relationships with trade and consumer influencers in specialty food categories to gain exposure for Petersoncheese products.

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Four-year degree in marketing, communications, English or related field (or equivalent work experience). Education in food studies is a bonus. Experience in social media management and marketing is required.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, and SEO optimization.
  • Knowledge or interest in immersing in contemporary food culture, and developing knowledge of products, how they are made, their features and benefits, and the consumer decision-making criteria for the product/category.
  • Collaborating with a direct sales force.
  • Using social media platforms and digital ad campaigns for B2B sales development.
  • Knowledge and desire to capture great pictures and videos relevant for our audience.
  • Ability to work remotely is a potential within this role.
